Who is eligible for Boiler Upgrade Scheme2024-02-16T19:14:37+00:00

You’re eligible for a ( BUS ) grant if all the following are true. You must:

  • own the property you’re applying for (including if it’s a business, a second home, or a property you rent out to tenants)
  • have installed (or plan to install) your new heating system on or after 1 April 2022
  • be replacing fossil fuel heating systems (such as oil, gas or electric)

You’re still eligible if you’ve already had funding to make your property more energy efficient, for example by insulating it.

Your property must have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) with no outstanding recommendations for loft or cavity wall insulation.

How long it takes to install Air Source Heat Pump?

It depends of how much job is required to do to install new Air Source Heat Pump.

We are currently able to complete a full installation between 1-7 days, if the work is more complex and we need to run new pipes in your house it will take up up to 7-10 days.

If your house do not need to upgrade radiators, hot water cylinder and we replacing the ASHP Air Source Heat Pump unit only, then the installation will take us 1 day.

If we are replacing your old gas boiler and you have your central heating pipes run in 15mm diameter then we need to upgrade the radiators, install new hot water cylinder and the external unit ASHP Air Source Heat Pump, then the installation takes between 4 – 7 days.

Anton Renewables is offering a high quality job, so we do not cutting corners, so that is why it takes us bit longer.

We have created a price guide that provides a summary of estimated prices as a starting point. The main factor that affects the cost of installing a new heat pump is: whether your home is insulated (loft and wall), have double glazed windows & your central heating system pipework is undersized.
Then the size of the house and amount of radiators which needs to be upgraded, size of the hot water cylinder & heat pump.

Yes, the Air Source Heap Pump – ASHP installed by Anton Renewables is working in winter up to -20°C. When we design the ASHP for your property we making sure that the rooms will be reaching the designed temperatures. When the weather become colder then the ASHP needs to work harder so the efficiency drops, but your home stay warm.
